Byblos Casa is born.
Its precise objective is connecting Byblos fashion style to a Byblosinterior design range through the filter of Alessandro Mendini’s expressive inspiration.
We have clients who are creative, open, modern, young, elegant, sports-minded,affluent and art-loving people. And then we have Erre Studio Edizioni, excelling in craftsmanship, specialized in luxury furniture of rare manufacturing, which will manage production and distribution.

This is all the result of the recent magic experience of a grand hotel outside Verona, housed in a magnificent renaissance villa, the five-star Byblos Art Hotel, Villa Amistà: the perfect setting for the prestigious fashion label Byblos. Its neo-baroque formula unites antique interiors with fashion, design and an important collection of contemporary art, all in an ideal synthesis of hospitality.
The Byblos Casa idea was born from this hotel, whose furniture and objects are an exemplary, museum-quality collection, frequently arousing much interest in guests. The Casa line is to be inspired by the same philosophy.
The world of Byblos furnishing is configured to address both the private market and the hotel market, with an emphasis on the l tter. The collection will connect to international and global tastes. Different lines will be made to best represent streams such as revival, design, ethnic style and more.

The collection’s main furniture groups will be the following: seating and upholstered furniture (sofas, armchairs, hassocks, stools,benches, pillows); cabinetry (living room and bedroom cabinets, shelving, bookcases); table tops (tables, coffee tables, desks, shelves, console tables); beds and night tables;outdoor furniture; interior style objects (lamps, vases, carpets, screens). Muchimportance will be given to the fabrics used for the furniture, giving rise to a collection ofByblos interior design fabrics.

Drapes and wood paneling will be a special part of thisfabric line. The materials of the collection will be chosen in accordance with thedesigns’ specific requirements. They range from foam, wood and metal to plastic,ceramics and glass. All will be the result of Erre Studio’s skillful techniques, the fruit oftheir traditionally sophisticated craftsmanship. Byblos Casa aims for a high-levelclientele that is similar to the Byblos Art Hotel’s, although there will also be moreaccessible, less expensive products.

For the design of more high-luxury Byblos Hotels,the interiors will be coherent with and suitable for the Byblos Casa furniture collection.Alessandro Mendini is in charge of the collection’s artistic direction; the designers ofAtelier Mendini will assist him in creating the pieces, in addition to other artists.
